Joseph "Kip" Shadley, 53, of West Salem, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2001, at Medina General Hospital.
Services will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Matteson Funeral Home in West Salem, with Pastor Raymond Miller officiating. Burial will be at West Salem Cemetery.
Friends may call tonight (Friday) from 7-9 at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to James Stevenson American Legion Post 499 Building Fund, in care of Carl Whitcomb, 14500 Winter Road, West Salem 44287.
He was born April 17, 1948, in Lodi, to Jesse and Lillian (Thompson) Shadley.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Lillian and Carl "Bud" Whitcomb of West Salem; and a brother, Tim (Vickie) Shadley of West Salem.
