WEST SALEM - Glenn E. Mealy, 80, of West Salem, died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, at MetroHealth Medical Center of Cleveland.

Services will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Parker & Son Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi. Burial will be at Burbank Cemetery.

Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born in Rittman to Earl and Isabelle (Hawkins) Mealy and had resided in Burbank, moving to West Salem 20 years ago.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

He had been an electronics researcher for NASA and Ford Motor Co. retiring in 1989. He had previously worked for Picker X-ray in Cleveland.

He was a member of West Salem Masonic Lodge and Royal Arch Masons, Ashland Council.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta (Kester) Mealy; daughters, Charlotte (Gorden) Duncan of West Salem, Cheryl (Tom) Fortune of Wooster, Sharron Sheehy of Medina and Carolyn Mealy of Toronto; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Two sons, Randall and Glenn M. and two sisters, Ethel and Margaret, died previously.
