**Jack Veazie is the farthest boy right on a bicycle in this picture. He was born in North Adams, attended Drury High School and North Adams State Teachers College. He jouned the Navy in 1942 and afterwards settled in Virginia. Veazie Street in North Adams was named after his great-grandfather Samuel Veazie.
