"Woronoco is a section of Russell, so the Russell Historic Commission covers Woronoco as well. They had their own post office up until the Strathmore Mills closed. Russell seems to be divided into "the village", area along the river where most homes are, "the mountain", the earliest section developed near Boy scout camp and Russell Pond and Woronoco."
