According to records in the National Archives, Daniel served in the War of 1812, in Capt. Listed in 1850 Federal Census, Coles County, IL - Wabash Precinct

ii. Warner Trimble, born Bet. 1819 - 1821 in Indiana; died 28 May 1907 in Mattoon Township, Coles Co, IL; married Elizabeth Trimble Bef. 1850 in Indiana?.

It is believed that Ithamer W. Trimble, son of Daniel Trimble and Warner Trimble are probably the same person.

iii. Riley Trimble, born Abt. 1820 in Indiana; died in Illinois?.

1850 Federal Census, Coles County, IL - Wabash Precinct
Riley Tremble (Trimble) built a log cabin in Paradise, Coles County, Illinois on the corner of Old State Road and Dixie School Road.

iv. James R. Tremble, born Abt. 1822 in Indiana; died 19 Mar 1882 in Coles Co, IL; married Mary B. Sawyer 11 Feb 1851 in Coles Co, Illinois.

v. Phebe Ann Trimble, born Bet. 1824 - 1825 in Indiana; died 18 Sep 1858 in Coles Co, IL; married Christwell Cox 15 Jan 1846 in Wayne Co., Indiana.

vi. Joseph Jacob Trimble, born 16 May 1830 in Indiana; died Abt. 1914; married Narcissa Edwards 11 Mar 1851 in Mattoon, Coles Co, IL.

1860 Illinois Census, Moultrie Co, Whitly Twp T12NR6E

[Somehave thought that Joseph Jacob be the son of Moses Trimble. Because his first son was named Daniel Gideon -- Gideon was Narcissa's father, I believe Daniel was probably Joseph's father. According to the Moultrie Co, IL census, Joseph was born in Indiana. None of Moses Trimble's children would have been born in Indiana since Moses lived his adult life in Warren Co, Ohio and died there. Date of birth in 1830 came from the Kamp Papers, vol. 2 which said that Joseph was the son of Moses. I don't believe that to be correct. If Moses had a son Joseph, it is not Joseph Jacob. ]

vii. Simeon M. Trimble, born 1840 in Lebanon, Warren Co, OH; died 04 Jun 1901 in E. Las Vegas, San Miguel Co, NM; married Sarah E. Murray 25 May 1873 in Galesburg, Jasper Co, MO.
