The picture on this Porsgrund plate is of the sailing ship "Crown." Barque "Crown" On the back it says: BARQUE "CROWN" 655 Tons, was built of wood in Risor (Norway) in 1879, and registered at Risor from 1879 to 1910. Owners were: M. Danielsen from 1879 and Victor Normann from 1903. "Crown" was shipwrecked in 1910. Masters were: from 1880 H.R. Danielsen, from 1892 R.M. Heberg and from 1902 E. Skoglund. |
