Lawrence D. Blackburn

Lawrence D. Blackburn of Idlewild, who died last Saturday morning, was buried Sunday at the Old Field Baptist church, of which Mr. Blackburn was a faithful and esteemed member.
By trade, the deceased was a tanner and mechanic. He was a fine citizen and a good neighbor. He always stood for upright things in his community.
He is survived by his wife and the following children: Worth, Howard, Mrs. L.L. Owens, Mrs. A.H. Church, and Mrs. Jimmie Walker and Mrs. C.B.R. Hartsog. Parents: Edmund BLACKBURN and Martha PHILLIPS.
