Brother of Local Resident Dies
Funeral service for James Gary Kilby, 62, of North Wilkesboro, who passed away on Sunday, December 24 in the Wilkes General Hospital, was held Monday, Dec. 25 at Sturdivant's Funeral Home Chapel, Wilkesboro.
He was born October 25, 1910 in Wilkes County to Henry Cleve and Cillia Kilby. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of North Wilkesboro and was a retired Greyhound bus driver.
Surviving is a son, James Gary Kilby, Jr., of Winston Salem, three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ed Dancy of Wilkesboro and Mrs. Gale McMillan of West Jefferson; three brothers, Rex, Parks and Clyde, of North Wilkesboro. Parents: Henry Cleveland KILBY and Cilla UNKNOWN.
