W. A. Hodgson Passes At Home
Funeral service for W. Arthur Hodgson, 76, was held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Buffalo Baptist church. Officiating was Rev. M.D. Hart and internment was in the family cemetery.
The son of the late Ellen Campbell and Clavin Hodgson, of Ashe county, he was married to Mrs. Bina Hodgson, who survives. Mr. Hodgson was a resident of West Jefferson.
In addition to his wife, twelve children survive, Tacy and Margaret Rowe, Ella Rosenbalm, Ray Hodgson, Russel Hodgson, Raymond Hodgson, Susie Hafner, William, Jimmie, J.C. , Loraine and Martha Hodgson. Parents: Calvin J. "Columbus" HODGSON and Ellen Caroline CAMPBELL.
