Mrs. Carrie Roten Jenkins, granddaugher of Martha Caroline and Taz Robinson, told the following--Martha Caroline was an only child and met Tazwell Robinson while he was on a trip to Winston Salem to sell produce. Martha Caroline was very young but fell in love with Taz and they were soon married. Carrie Roten Jenkins also stated that Benjamin and Martha Caroline are descendants of the Grays of Bowman and Grays in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Parents: Benjamin GRAY and Hannah AUSTILL.
