S. Baldwin Passed Away In Maryland
Funeral service for Sallie Baldwin, Baltimore, Md., formerly of Ashe County, who passed away Wednesday, November 4, in Baltimore, was conducted at 2 p.m., Saturday, November 7, at the Landmark Baptist Church. Officiating were Rev. W.E. Denny, Rev. W.H. Caldwell and Rev. Bill Ballou with burial in the Howell-Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Baldwin was born in Ashe County, November 15, 1980, to Hezikiah Fowler and Jane Farrington Fowler. She was the widow of Lee Baldwin.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Opal Parris, Baltimore, Md.; two sons, Roscoe Oliver, Lansing, and Wayne K. Fowler, Baltimore, Md.; one brother, Dewey Fowler, Crumpler; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
The family received friends at Badger's Funeral Home on Friday November 5, from 7-9 p.m. Parents: Living and Living.
