Mattie Angel Kesler, 99, of Salisbury, died May 4, 1999. She was the daughter of Thomas Weldon Angel and Martha Ann Berry Angel. She was a graduate of the University of North Carolina and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music where she earned a graduate degree. She taught music at Franklin High and in the public school system in Spencer, North Carolina. She is survived by 1 son, William Angel Kesler of Salsibury. The body was cremated and remains were placed at Macon County, North Carolina - Woodlawn Cemtery next to her husband's grave. Parents: Thomas Weldon ANGEL Sr. and Martha Ann BERRY.
