Wintford Calloway
Wintford Calloway was born July 19, 1884 and departed this life September 22, 1960, making his stay on earth 76 years, 2 months, and three days.
He was married to Ethel Teague, July 13, 1911.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Charles DeVore of La Mirada, Calif. and Mrs. Roger Pugh of Elkton Md.; one brother, William Calloway of West Jefferson; five sisters, Mrs. Rufus Bledsoe of Gap Creek, Mrs. Bob Woodruff, Idlewild, Mrs Hamp Colvard of Obids and Mrs. George Miller of West Jefferson.
Also five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He led a quiet and peaceful life making many friends and no enemies.
He joined Beaver Creek Primitive Baptist Church lived in a sweet hope of the Resurrection and everlasting life. Parents: Alfred Martin CALLOWAY and Martha Jane KILBY.
