Ship Passenger Lists - Zach Family

The younger Ignatz ZACH, my great grandfather, left Europe on the S.S. Hanover from the Port of Bremen, Germany.  He arrived in New York, New York USA on 28 May 1872.  He initially went to Wisconsin for a short time and then went to the St. Mary's community in Platte County, Nebraska.

On the same passenger list are Maria PFEIFER, her daughters Maria and Agnes, and daughter Anna and son-in-law Leopold WILHOLN (WIDHOLM), all who came to the St. Mary's Community in Platte County, Nebraska.

Ignatz's parents, Ignatz and Maria PFEIFER ZACH and their five younger children, sailed from Bremen, Germany, on the ship America.  They arrived at the Port of New York, New York on 27 Jun 1874.  From New York they traveled to the St. Mary's community in Platte County, Nebraska, about 3 miles south of the city of Humphrey.
