Obituary for Anna KUDRON TRAGARZ

TRAGARZ--Anna Tragarz, 73, 2157 - 18th Street, Columbus, died at
her home Monday following a lingering illness of several years. Funeral
services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Bonaventure Church,
Rev. Kieran Kemner officiating with burial in St. Bonaventure Cemetery.
She will lie in state after 1 p.m. Wednesday at McKown Funeral Home and
there will be a scripture service at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral
home.
Born to Thomas and Ursula Kudron on May 11, 1905 in Pilzno, Poland, she
attended school at St. Peter and Paul, Krakow and married Charles
Tragarz at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church on February 14, 1922.
They lived in Polk County until moving to Columbus in 1952 where they
retired.
She is survived by a son, Edward, and daughter Mrs. Albert (Mae) Alt,
both of Columbus; grandchildren, Kenneth Alt, Denver, Mrs. Doug (Patty)
Barrett, Casper, Wyo., Margaret, Jerry, Tom, Jean and Cheryl Alt, all of
Columbus; a great-granddaughter, Jennifer Alt, Denver, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; three brothers; two
sisters.
