Deaths and Funerals STEINER -- Funeral services for Mrs. Rudolph (Margaret) Steiner, 75, Clarkson, will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Clarkson Catholic Church with burial in the parish cemetery. The Rev. Lucian Astuto will officiate. Rosary service will be 7:30 p.m. today at the Miller Funeral Home, Clarkson, where the body lies in state. Mrs. Steiner, who died Wednesday at Schuyler Memorial Hospital, was born in Norfolk Nov. 7, 1901, the daughter of Ferdinand and Agnes (Schnetk) (sic) Thomas. At the age of eight, she moved with her family to a farm near Humphrey and there married Rudolph Steiner on Jan. 11, 1922 at St. Francis Catholic Church. The Steiners farmed near Creston until 1948, then farmed 10 miles south of Clarkson until retiring to Clarkson in October, 1965. Mrs. Steiner was a member of the Clarkson Catholic Church and Alter Society. Preceded in death by her husband, April 20, 1967, she is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Dohmen of Norfolk, Mrs. Alice Buresh of Platte Center, Mrs. Clinton (Jeanette) Asche of Spalding; one son, Art of Omaha; 34 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Four sisters and three brothers also survive: Mrs. Erna Steiner and Mrs. Everett (Martha) Jones of Columbus; Mrs. Frederick (Rose) Hoffman of Battle Creek; Adolph of Albion; Joe of Platte Center; Raymond and Mrs. Paul (Hilda) Franks of Wyandotte, Mich. Also preceding her in death were her parents; five brothers; three sisters; two sons-in-law and a grandson.
