My Grandmother Martha KUDRON immigrated with her family from Łęki Górne, Poland, to Krakow, Nance County, Nebraska, 20 June 1907. Following is the information I have collected for Michael KUDRON, who immigrated to the United States in the late 1800s. His calculated date of birth, based on U.S. sources varies widely, however, I believe I have found his birth/baptism record in the microfilmed church records for Łęki Górne. First is the information I have gathered from various United States sources, followed by the birth/baptism and marriage information I have extracted from the microfilmed Polish church records. According to the 1910 Nebraska census, Michael KUDRON immigrated to the United States in 1897. The 1930 census says he immigrated in 1888. I did not find Michael in the Platte County Nebraska 1900 census. His marriage announcement of February 1902 shows he was from Rock Springs, Wyoming (Sweetwater county).

This is an extract from the Platte County marriage records. I think the names of the parents are a best guess by the transcriber. I believe Michael's parents were Gregorius KUDRON and Marianna KANIA of Łęki Górne, Poland. Josie was Josephine MICEK, a daughter of Andrew MICEK and Appolonia/Paulina KUS/KUSH; step-daughter of John STUPFEL; granddaughter of Michael KUS/KUSH and Sophia AUGUSTYN.

There is a Michael KUDRON buried in the Ss. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Fullerton, Nance County, Nebraska. Born 1861 - Died 1937. I don't know if this is the same Michael KUDRON. There is a disparity among calculated birth years from the censuses and marriage record.

The only reference I have regarding Michael KUDRON's parents is from the marriage record extracts for Platte County, Nebraska:

Michael's calculated year of birth, based on U.S. sources, varies quite a bit: Marriage extract - 1873; 1910 Nebraska census - 1876; 1930 Nebraska census - 1863. There is a tombstone in the Fullerton Catholic cemetery for a Michael KUDRON, with a birth year of 1861, but I do not know yet if this is the same Michael KUDRON.

Here is the record from the LDS microfilms for Łęki Górne that I believe to be Michael's birth record

Michael's parents are Gregorius / Grzegorz KUDROŃ and Marianna KANIA, which comes close to the information on the Platte County marriage extract. I have not seen the actual marriage document to make my own interpretation.
