In June 1999 I accompanied my Mother to her 60th high school reunion in
Albion, Boone County, Nebraska. My Mother was born in rural Albion, the
fourth of ten children born to Adolph and Julia ZACH THOMAS. During
some free time, we visited the St. Michael Catholic Cemetery just
outside Albion on Hwy 91. Adolph, Julia and their youngest daughter
Virginia THOMAS GALITZ are laid to rest here. Further east on Hwy 91 is
the community of Lindsay. Holy Family Catholic Cemetery is outside of
town to the southeast. My Grandfather Adolph's parents, Ferdinand and
Agnes SCHNECK THOMAS, are both buried here.
