Find Merchant Died in Field
Says a Pottstown, Pa., special of May 4: Amos Hiestand, 62, proprietor of a general store near Spring City, was found dead in his orchard to-day. He had left his store only a half hour before to do some plowing.

Auditor's Notice -- Estate of Amos Hiestand, Dec'd -- Notice
is hereby given that the undersigned, appointed by the Orphans' Court of
Chester County, Auditor to report distribution of the balance of
said Estate in the hands of Clara E. Hiestand, Administratrix of said
decedent, late of East Vincent township, deceased, will sit for the
purpose of his appointment at the office of H. H. Gilkyson, Esq.,
Phoenixville, Pa. on Saturday, the 5th (fifth) day of October, A. D.
1918 at 10 o'clock a.m. when and where all persons interested may
attend.

Clara Brownback Hiestand

Mrs. Clara Hiestand, 88, of Washington street, Royersford, died yesterday at Twin Linden Nursing Home, Churchtown.
Mrs. Hiestand was born in East Vincent, daughter of the late Jesse and Sarah Brownback, and resided many years in that section. Her husband, who died in 1917, operated a store at Hiestand's Corner, now conducted by Elmer Hiestand.
She later resided in Phoenixville and then in Royersford. She was hospitalized the past eight years.
She was a member of Brownback's Reformed church.
She is survived only by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at a funeral home at 267 Walnut street, Royersford, on Monday at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be made in Brownback's cemetery.
