On 18 Feb 1653/1654 when John was 23, he married Sarah FITCH, daughter of Deacon Zachariah / Zachary FITCH & Mary ?, in Reading, Middlesex Co., MA. Born bef 1638 in Lynn, Essex Co., MA. Sarah died on 25 Dec 1698; she was 60. They had the following children:

i. John (Died Young). Born on 17 Aug 1655 in Reading, Middlesex Co., MA. John died in Reading, Middlesex Co., MA, on 19 Aug 1655; he was <1.

ii. Sarah. Born on 15 Jul 1656 in Reading, Middlesex Co., MA. At the age of <1, Sarah was baptized in Salem, Essex Co., MA, on 10 May 1657. Sarah died on 27 Jan 1685/1686; she was 28.
