In 1632 when Richard was 42, he married Dorothy THATCHER (?), in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. Dorothy died in 1680. They had the following children:

In 1659 when Deborah was 19, she married Zachariah PADDOCK, son of Robert PADDOCK & Mary HOLMES, in Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., MA. Born on 20 Mar 1636/1637 in Plymouth, Plymouth Co., MA. Zachariah died in Yarmouth, Barnstable Co., MA, on 1 May 1727; he was 91. Buried in East Dennis, Barnstable Co., MA. Paddock Cemetery. They had the following children:
