In 1747 when Jonathan was 22, he married Abigail CADY, daughter of James CADY & Abigail ?. Abigail was baptized on 29 May 1726. Abigail died in Sep 1797.

On 15 Dec 1736 when John was 49, he second married Susanna MORRIS. Born on 15 Aug 1698. They had the following children:

i. Abner. Born on 8 Jun 1738. Abner died on 16 Mar 1769; he was 30. Occupation: Farmer. On 16 Mar 1769 when Abner was 30, he married Sarah Linsey COYE. Born in 1745.
ii. Annah. Born on 26 Aug 1740.

Joseph CADY & Sarah DAVIS. Born on 4 Apr 1714 in Killingly, Windham Co., CT. Benjamin died in Killingly, Windham Co., CT, on 1 Nov 1788; he was 74. Buried in Putnam, Windham Co., CT. Aspinwall Cemetery. They had the following children:
