William Lawson Pridgen

Services will be held Saturday for William Lawson Pridgen, 89, of 811 Arrow St., Parker, who died Wednesday at his home. A retired fish salesman, he had been a resident here 50 years.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. at the First Church of God on East Fifth Street with the Rev. Larry Thornton officiating. The body will lie in state at Smith Funeral Home until one hour before service time, then lie in state in the church for one hour. Burial will be in Parker Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy Sapp Pridgen of Parker; two sons, William Thomas Pridgeon of Parker and Elzie L. Pridgen of St. Petersburg; four daughters, Mrs. Nora Esther Williams of St. Petersburg, Mrs. Ruby Garrett of Alma, Ga., Mrs. Alma Williams of Parker, and Mrs. Lucille Ecker of Palatka; and two sisters, Mrs. Valeria King (sic) of North Carolina (sic) and Mrs. Mattie Josie of Dublin, Ga.
