The daughter of (9B)-Sally (Cartright) and (9)-Allen Hill. She was born in Jackson County, West Virginia, date not known. She grew to womanhood in this section and married (65A)-Emary Raush. We have no further information concerning her.

(66)-ROSANNA HILL

Third Generation
The daughter of (9B)-Sally (Cartright) and (9)-Allen Hill. She was born near Rock Castle, Jackson County, West Virginia, date not known. She grew to womanhood in this section and married (66A)-Robert Bradley. They had one daughter, name or date of birth not known. She later married (66B)-William Thomas and lived at Winfield, West Virginia until her death about 1929. She is buried in the Methodist cemetery near Red House, Putnam Co., West Virginia.

The first child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)�Aaron Hill. She was born March 11, 1843 in Putnam County, West r Virginia. She grew to womanhood in this section and married (67 A)-Alvin Russell who served in Union Army during the Civil War in Company K, 13th West Virginia volunteer infantry. They had eight children:

The second child of (10A)-Annaliza (Adkinson) and (10)-Aaron Hill He was born January 2, 1845 in Putnam County, West Virginia. He grew to manhood in this section and married (68A)-Eliza B. Click. He continued to live in this vicinity engaging in farming and logging. They had eight children:

(69)-JOHN WESLEY HILL

Third Generation
The third child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)-Aaron Hill. He was born August 16, 1846 in Putnam County, West Virginia. He grew to manhood in this section and married (69A)-Virginia Jeffery. He served in Company K, 13th West Virginia Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. They continued to live in this locality engaging-in farming and logging. While they had no children of their own they reared three others---Morris Hutton, Ison McClain, and Howard Jeffery.

The early part of this record is based in part on two old letters written by Virginia Jeffery Hill to her nephew (277)-�Dr. J. O. Hill and is believed to be authentic. She lived at Red House, West Virginia during her latter days and died in 1937. John Wesley Hill died February 25, 1908.Both are buried in the Martin Cemetery on Eighteen Mile Creek, Putnam County, West Virginia.

(70)-FRANCES S. (Henrietta) HILL

Third Generation
The fourth child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)-Aaron Hill. She was born June 9, 1848 in Putnam County, West Virginia. She died in infancy, October 25, 1848.

(71)-JULIA ANNE HILL

Third Generation
The fifth child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)-�Aaron Hill. She was born November 23, 1849 in Putnam County, West Virginia. She grew to womanhood in this section and married (71A)-Benjamin F. Workman who served in the Union Army During the Civil War. He enlisted, apparently somewhere in Pennsylvania, under the name of Benjamin Franklin omitting, for some reason, the family name Workman. In spite of this the government paid his widow and second wife, who was a Mrs. Null, a pension. We believe this lady was still living in 1941.

Julia Anne Hill and Benjamin Workman had five children:

We have no record of the death of Julia Anne Hill, but it was apparently quite early, for her fifth child Rosgrove was reared by his uncle and aunt (67)-Mary Jane Hill and Alvin Russell.

(72)-EMILIE E. HILL

Third Generation
The sixth child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)-Aaron Hill. She was born February 24, 1852 in Putnam County, West Virginia. She grew to womanhood here and married (72A)-�Calvin Allen and moved to Illinois. They had eight children. We have no further record of this family.

(73)-CALVIN D. HILL

Third Generation
The seventh child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)-Aaron Hill. He was born March 30, 1854 in Putnam County, West Virginia. He grew to manhood in this section and married (73A)-Mary Ann Bailey. They lived near the old Hill place and engaged in farming. Mary Ann Bailey Hill died in February 1908. Calvin D. Hill died February 28, 1909. Both are buried in the Martin Cemetery on Eighteen Mile Creek in Putnam County. They had. five children:

(74)-GEORGE FRANKLIN HILL

Third Generation
The eighth child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)-Aaron Hill. He was born February 20, 1856 in Putnam County, West Virginia. He grew to manhood in this section and married (74A)-Nancy Susan Bailey December 27, 1878. She was born April 30, 1862. They lived their entire lives on Eighteen Mile Creek in Putnam County, engaging in farming. She died January 26, 1914. George Franklin Hill died January 5, 1918. Both are buried at Charleston, West Virginia. They had five children:

The twelfth child of (10A)-Annaliza (*Adkinson) and (10)�Aaron Hill. He was born January 23, 1865 in Putnam County, West Virginia. He grew to manhood in this section and married (78A)-Elizabeth (Net) Stevens. He died March 11, 1902. They bad three children:

Third Generation
The first child of (11A)-Sarah Jane (Fogelsong) and (11)�Jonathan Hill. He was born June 26, 1847 in Jackson County, West Virginia. In 1853 he moved with his parents to Kilbourn, Iowa where the family settled on a farm. He grew to manhood here, engaged in farming and married (79A)-Annie Sage. We have no record of any children being born to this union. He later married (79B)-Emma Elizabeth Mather in Mahaska County, Iowa in August 1877. He died March 10, 1936. Emma Elizabeth (Mather) Hill died February 24, 1937. They had five children:

Third Generation
The second child of (11A)-Sarah J.(Fogelsong) and (11)-Jonathan Hill. She was born April 16, 1849 in Jackson County, West Virginia. In 1853 she moved with her parents to a farm near Kilbourn, Iowa where she grew to womanhood and married (80A)-W. L. Richards. They lived in Joplin, Missouri. She died April 25, 1.897 age 48 years and 9 days. She had no children.
