Archdeaconry of Wilts  William Oatridge  Pewsey  yeoman 

In the Name of God Amen this 14th day of Decem. Anno Domini 1694 

I William Oatridge of Pewsey in the County of Wilts yeoman being weak in body  But of Perfecte  Minde and Memorie thanks be to God for it  doo Make this my laste Will and Testament in  Manner and formatt ffollowing. 

Imprimis I comitt my soul into the hands of Almighty God my ??? and Jesus Christ my  Redeemer hoping through his merritts to have a full & free pardon for all my Sins & my Body to  the Earth to be Buried at the discretion of my Executor hereafter named (note: surname that  looks like Sondsett interpreted as Somersett  as christenings for that family appear at that time 

and place) 

Item I doo give unto my Grandchild Dorothy Somersett Twenty Shillings 

Item I doo give unto my Grandsonn Edmund Somersett One Shilling 

Item I give unto my Grandson Amor? Somersett One Shilling 

Item I give unto my Grandchild Susannah Somersett fourty pounds 

Item I give unto my Grandsonne William Somersett fourty pounds 

Item I give unto my Grandchild Rose Somersett £40 

Item I give unto the Poore of Wootton Rivers Tenn Shillings 

Item I give all my household goods unto Dorothy Somersett Susannah Somersett and Rose  Somersett to be equally divided Betweene them 

Item the rest of my Goods and Chattles nott hereinbefore given I doo give and Bequeath unto  Edmund Somersett my sonne-in-lawe who me I doo Make and Ordain as my Sole Executor of  this My Laste Will and Testament Revoking all other Wills by me formerly Made ??? ??? William  Baynto of Burbage and William Steevens of Pewsey to see will performed and I doo give unto 

them 12 pence for theire pains herein In Wtiness whereof I sett my hand and seal the day and  yeare ?? above

Inventory £101-4-0  wearing apparel and money in his purse £85. 

Probate 4 May 1699  Inventory 5 May 1699 

NOTE: 

Can find marriage of Edmund Somerset March 1666 "England" in IGI  And William SOMMARSET Chr. 18 Aug 1700 Easton Royal son of Thomas.
