(549) PRR Will Partial Transcript (too much legalese) 

I William Henry Oatridge of Sandfield Cottage North Wall Deal in the County of Kent Market  Gardener Hereny revoke all testamentary dispositions hereinbefore made by me and declare this  to be my last Will which I make this Fourth day of May One Thousand Nine Hundred and Twenty 

(1) I appoint my Wife Edith Mary Oatridge and my friend Horace Jofford of Walmer in the said  County of Kent Builder (hereinafter called "my trustees") to be the Executors and Trustees of my  Will 

(2) I Bequeath all my household furniture and effects unto my trustees upon trust that my  trustees shall permit my Wife to use and enjoy the same during widowhood she providing a  home for such of my children as shall be under the age of Twenty One years and after her 

remarriage or death upon trust for my Four children William Henry Robert Oatridge  George  Frank Edward Oatridge  May Emily Jane Oatridge and Edith Sarah Oatridge in equal shares. 

(3) I Bequeath to George Castor Oatridge (brother) should he have been employed continuously 

in the business of a Market Gardener carried on by me in the employment of my son or sons  should they carry on my said business of a Market Gardener for a period of Three Years from my  death the sum of Two Hundred pounds 

(4) - (8) Legal provisions as to liquidation and disposal of assets 

(9) My Trustees shall continue to carry on my said business until the younger for the time being  of my two sons namely William Henry Robert Oatridge and George Frank Edward Oatridge 

attains the age of Twenty One years.......(goes on to empower employment of his sons 

managers and workers) 

(10) Financial provision for wife until sons are 21. 

(11) Provision for maintenance of children until they are if 21 if wife remarries or dies. 

(12) Renumeration of £20 per year for trustees 

(13)-(16) Sale of business when sons reach 21 (to them or other party. 

(17) Investment of monies from sale of business 

(18) Upon Trust to pay the income to my wife during her widowhood and after the death or 

remarriage of my Wife which first happens upon Trust in equal shares for all or any my children  or child (except my daughter Hilda Edith Mary Oatridge my reason being that she has not for  some considerable time and will not reside with her parents) ....... 

(19) - (20) Further provisions for investment income 

(21) Wife has power to appoint new trustee
