THIS IS THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me  WILLIAM EDWARD OATRIDGE of 212 Gooch Street in the City of -  Birmingham I HEREBY REVOKE all previous Wills and Testamentary 

Instruments by me made I APPOINT Herbert Marson Genders of 214  Gooch Street Grocer and Joseph Enoch Mather of 212 Gooch Street  Sawyer both of Birmingham aforesaid to be the EXECUTORS of this 

my Will I DIRECT my Executors to pay my just Debts and funeral and  Testamentary expenses I DIRECT my body to be interred in my family  grave situate in Lodge Hill Cemetery with the Rites of the Church  of England I GIVE to my Sister-in-law Julia Teear the sum of - 

Twenty pounds I GIVE to Dora daughter of the said Julia Teear the  sum of Ten pounds I GIVE to my Grandchild Bessie Oatridge the sum  of Twenty pounds and I direct that this said sum shall be banked 

until the said Grandchild attains the age of Twenty one years -  I GIVE to my Grandchild Raymond Oatridge the sum of Ten pounds  and I direct that this said sum shall be banked until the said - 

Grandchild attains the age of twenty one years I GIVE to my Grand  child Hettie Doreen Genders the sum of Twenty pounds and I direct  that this said sum shall be banked until the said Grandchild -  attains the age of twenty one years I GIVE to Joseph Enoch Mather 

my Watch and Chain and appendages I GIVE to Marjorie daughter of  the said Joseph Enoch Mather the sum of Five pounds I GIVE to -  Elsie Clara Mather wife of the said Joseph Enoch Mather the sum 

of Twenty Pounds and as a mark of my gratitude I DIRECT that she  shall have without let or hindrance for a period not exceeding  One year from the day of my decease free of Rent and Rates the -  tenancy of the dwellinghouse portion only of the shop and dwell- 

ing house situate in and known as 212 Gooch Street Birmingham my  direction regarding this free tenancy is again hereinafter ment-  ioned I GIVE to my daughter Minnie wife of Herbert Marson Genders 

ny War Loan of One Hundred Pounds absolutely I GIVE to my said  daughter Minnie the leasehold property situate in and known as  214 Gooch Street Balsall Heath in the City of Birmingham consist 

ing of Shop and dwellinghouae with the outbuildings attached.  thereto or in the event of my said daughter's decease then to her  child Hettie Doreen I GIVE to my son William Henry Oatridge the  leasehold property situate in and known as 212 Gooch Street - 

Balsall Heath in the City of Birmingham consisting of Shop and  dwellinghouse with the out buildings attached thereto together  with the Stable and Slaughter-house at the rear or in the event 

of my said son's decease then to his children Bessie and Raymond  jointly and equally I DIRECT my Executors that in order to -  compensate my said son William Henry for any loss which may be -  caused him by the free tenancy I have hereintefore directed they 

shall pay to my said Son William Henry a sum of Twenty five pounds  as and for one year's Rent and Rates in advance for the tenancy  of the portion of these said premises I have hereintefore granted 

free to Elsie Clara Mather I ALSO GIVE to my said son William  Henry a further sum of Twenty five pounds absolutely From the -  proceeds of my Policy of Assurance my money or monies in hand or 

on deposit at Bank or any money or monies which may be due to me  excepting my War Loan which is hereintefore disposed of from any  source or sources whatsoever my Executors shall pay my just debts  and expenses and monetary Gifts and payment hereintefore mention 

ed in this my Will and the residue together with all my real and  personal property of what nature or kind soever not hereinbefore  otherwise disposed of I GIVE DEVICE AND BEQUEATH to my daughter 

Minnie wife of Herbert Marson Genders IN WITNESS whereof I have  to this my last Will set my hand this Fifteenth day of October  1931

On the 27 Apr 1935  Probate of this Will  was granted at BIRMINGHAM
