Diocese of Gloucester Consistory Court (Ref 1758/160) (442) Cover: The Last Will and Testament of Mr Simon Oatridge dated March 16th 1758 In the Name of God Amen I Simon Oatridge of the Parish of Coaley in the County of Gloucester Gent being of sound and disposing Mind Memory and Understanding Thanks be given to almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following (that is to say) I give to Doctor Cork's Children five pounds each and to Dr Cork's Son I give my Watch Item I give my Servant Elizabeth Slam twenty pounds which several legacies I will and direct shall be paid within three months after my Decease by my Executor herinafter Mentioned Item I give to my Nephew Miles Oatridge all my Freehold & Leazehold Estates lying in the parishes of Coaley Ham to hold to him his heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns for an during the Term Estate and Interest I have therein Item I give all the rest residue and remainder of my Goods Chattles Eights? Credits and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever and of what manner or kind soever and not be me before herein disposed of subject and chargeable never the ??? with the payment of all my just Debts Funeral Expenses and Legacies aforesaid and I do hereby constitute and appoint my Nephew Miles Oatridge sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament In Witness thereof I have to this my last Will and Testament set my Hand and Seal this the sixteenth of March one thousand seven hundred and fifty eight signed Simon Oatridge Signed Sealed published and declared by the said Testator as and for his last Will and Testament in the presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the presence of each other have sett and subscribed our names as Witnesses thereto Miles Oatridge snr?
