(486) PCC Will Abstract: PCC Will dated 29 August 1645 proved London 1646 by oath of Margaret OTRIDGE relict and executor (No copy of document) Simon OATRIDGE of Garsdon Co Wilts yeoman Body to be buried in Garsdon Church (no record found) To my son Samuel £50 To my daughter Abigail 3 score pounds To my son John £40 & the lease of (P|F)owlhill after the decease of his mother To sons Daniel and Thomas £10 each and the lease of my house and land in Garsdon after the death of their mother to be equally divided To my son Robert ten yearlings 2 years old when they come to that age To my son Simon £5 To my grandchildren (unnamed) 20/- and 7 pence. To my sister Webb £3 To the poor of the parish 30/- to be paid within one year and a day after my desease if my executors be not pillaged or the goods taken away violently. If so then every one shall share of the loss equally.
