(388) PCC Will Abstract: (No copy of document) Robert OATRIDGE son of Simon of Garsdon Buried 3 May 1679 aged 55 years Lechlade Co. Glos. PCC will dated 10 August 1678 Proved 11 May 1680 (1680 Folio 62) Will: At the death of my wife Meriam the lands in Lechlade which I have settled on here for maintenance during her life to my son Robert for term unexpired. To my daughter Elizabeth land in Lechlade and £100 and some silver plate. To my daughter Meriam land in Lechlade and £100 and 5 silver spoons. To my youngest daughters Sarah and Ann £200 each and a piece of silver plate each. To my wife Meriam by best horse 10 cows half of my household goods except bedsteads tables cupboards furnaces and mash vats which I do order to be kept as standards in my now dwelling house she is also to have 6 silver spoons marked T.H. and 1 tankard and 1 beaker. To my sons Bathurst and Truby (surnames) 20/- each to buy rings. To my son Robert some silver plate and 6 silver spoons marked R.O and his guardianship I give to my kinsmen R Archer Giles Cleeve and Henry OATRIDGE the younger until he reaches 21 years and he to be educated and maintained. Rest and residue to my son Robert at 21 years but if he dies then equally between my daughters Margaret Mary Elizabeth Ann and Sarah.
