Will of John Otridge 1720

(400) Transcript: 

I John OTRIDG senior of Westbury in the County of Wilts doth hereby make this as my Last Will  and Testament. 

Imprimis - I give unto Mr Samuel Wherat and to Jeffery Whitaker one half part of my household 

goods in trust for use of son Gideon OTRIDG upon condition that Gideon OTRIDG shall pay one  half part of my funeral expenses 

Item - I Give unto Mr Mr Samuel Wherat and to Jeffery Whitaker the other half part of my 

household goods in trust for the use of my daughter Elizabeth COE upon condition that Elizabeth  COE doth pay for the proving of this my Last Will. 

Item - I Give unto Mr Samuel Wherat and to Jeffery Whitaker my bees for the use of my four 

grandchildren John OTRIDGE  Elizabeth OTRIDGE  Mary OTRIDGE and Samuel COE one  stock to each of them  and the remainder of the bees to be equally divided between my daughter  Elizabeth COE and Shusana OTRIDGE upon condition that elizabeth COE and Shusana 

OTRIDGE doth give a swarm of bees to my kinswoman Margret HUNT to be divided by my  executors. Also that its my will that what money I have lent to any of my children that they shall  keep it as their own proper right. 

Item - I Give unto Mr Samuel Wherat and to Jeffery Whitaker my house that I now live in  In  trust for the use of my son John OTRIDGE upon condition that he doth pay one half part of my  funeral expenses and I doth hereby make and constitute Mr Samuel Wherat and to Jeffery  Whitaker my whole and soul executors in trust to see this my Last Will and Testament 

performed. 

Witness my hand and seall this ninth day of May 1720 

Sealed and signed by the Testator John Otridge  and in our presenece ???? to be his Last  Willand Testament and attested and Subsrcibed in the presence of the said John OTRIDGE:
