Will of John Oatridge 1742 (628) Transcript of PCC Will: PROB 11/734 In the Name of God Amen I John Oatridge of the parish of Oaksey in the County of Wilts Gentleman being in good health and of sound and perfect Mind and Memory thanks be given to Almighty God for the same do herein and hereby make and declare my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say I first bequeath my Soul into the hands of Almighty God trusting for Salvation through the ???? of my ?? blessed Saviour Jesus Christ and I commit my Body to the Earth to be decently buryed at the discretion of my Executor hereinafter named And as for all the Wordly Estate which the said ???? hath blessed me with all I Give and dispose thereof in manner following Imprimis I give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Oatridge the sum of five hundred pounds on lawful of money to be paid to her by my Executor hereinafter named within one year after my decease Item I give and devise unto my daughter Elizabeth that my Leasehold estate with all the Lands and Appurtenances thereunto belonging lying and being in ??? in the parish of Kemble in the said County of Wilts now in the possession of Thomas ?inton and John Shillinor To hold unto my said daughter Elizabeth her Executors Administrators and Assigns for and during all my term and Estate therein also I give unto my said daughter Elizabeth the sum of one hundred pounds of lawfull money to be paid her in one year after my decease Item I give to my son John one shilling Item I give to my daughter Ann Hankock my daughter Margaret Rogers and my daughter Jane one shilling ??? they having already received their portions. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my son Robert Oatridge all my Freehold Messuages Land Tenements and Hereditaments lying and being in the parish of Oaksey aforesaid To hold to him the said Robert Oatridge his sons and Assigns forever. Item all the rest residue and remainder of my personal Estate of what kind or nature soever I give devise and bequeath unto my said son Robert Oatridge and I make my said son Robert Oatridge sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all other Wills and Codicills by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I have here utno set my hand and seal this twelth day of April in the fifteenth Year of the reign of King George the Second and in the Year of our Lord 1742 John Oatridge signed sealed published and ??? to be the Last Will and Testament of the said John Oatridge in whose presence the witnesses subscribed their name: Ron Freeman Mar.
