Will of Henry Oatridge 1726 Source: w4: Diocese of Gloucester Consistory Court Wills. Diocese of Gloucester Consistory Court (Glos RO 1727/99) In the name of God Amen I Henry Oatridge als Cripps of the parish of Bisley in the County of Glouc Carpenter being sick in body but of good and perfect memory do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following Imprimis I Give unto my honoured father Daniel Oatridge alias Cripps five Shillings of good and lawfull money. Item I Give unto my Uncle Richard Shaw the Younger five pounds and five shillings of like lawfull money to be paid in six months after my decease Item I Give until my Uncle Henry Mason the Younger five pounds and five shillings of like lawfull money to be paid in six months after my decease. Item I Give unto Mary Davis Daughter of my Uncle Daniel Davis all my timber Item all other my Goods and Chattels whatsoever I Give unto my Grandfather Richard Shaw the Elder making him whole and sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament in witness whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seal this twentieth day of March in the Year of our Lord God One thousand Seven Hundred and Twenty Six Signed sealed published and pronounced by the Testator to be his last Will and Testment (and the words (alias Cripps) being written over the first line) in the presence of us who have subscribed as Witnesses in the presence of the said Testator (signed Henrey Otridg) Thomas Dorander? his mark James Stanley John Panting Proved 30 Mar 1727 (statement in Latin)Updated on 16 Mar 2006
