This is the Last Will and Testament of me Edmund Oatridge of Knightsford Bridge in the County  of Worcester Gentleman made the twenty sixth day of January in the year of our Lord One  thousand eight hundred and eighty two I hereby revoking all Wills and Codicils heretofore made 

by me I appoint my brother John Oatridge of Durley near Marlborough in the County of Wilts  Inspector of Permanent Way and my sister Sarah Oatridge of Oaksey in the same county  spinster Trustees and Executors of this Will with all the Statutory and other powers annexed or 

incident to those office I bequeath the following pecuniary legacies namely 

To my said Sister Sarah Oatridge the sum of Five hundred pounds 

To Alice Davis Daughter of John and Mary Davis of Horsham Farm in the parish of Martley in 

the County of Worcester the sum of One hundred and five pounds. 

To Evan Gibbons Adelaide Gibbons and Agnes Glasson (late Gibbons) the children of the late  Robert and Ann Gibbons (sister) formerly of Oaksey aforesaid the sum of Nineteen pounds and 

nineteen shillings each 

And to Louisa Jones Daughter of John Gibbs of the parish of Kimbleton in the County of  Worcester the sum of Ten pounds and ten shillings 

And I declare that all the said legacies shall be paid free of legacy duty 

I devise and bequeath all the real and personal estate of which I can dispose by Will (except  estates vested in me by way of mortgage or upon any trusts) unto and to the use of the said John 

Oatridge and Sarah Oatridge their heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the  respective natures and qualities thereof Upon trust that they the said John Oatridge and Sarah  Oatridge or the survivor of them or the heirs executors or administrators of such survivor or their 

or his or her assigns or other the Trustees or Trustee for the time being of this my Will  (hereinafter referred to as "my said Trustees or Trustee") shall as soon as conveniently may be  after my decease sell in such manner as they he or she shall think fit the whole of my said real  estate and also such parts of my said personal estate as shall be in their nature (end of page 1) 

saleable and collect get in and collect into money my said personal estate to pay my funeral and  testamentary expenses and my debts and the said legacies bequeathed by this my Will and the  legacy duty thereon And upon trust divide the residue of my said trust estate and the monies 

arising therefrom between my said Brother John and my Brothers Robert Raymond and Edwin  and my said sistser Sarah and my Sister Elizabeth in equal shares as tenants in common and  the share of each of them to be vested in him or her respectively on my decease.

and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses

This is a Codicil to the last Will and Testament of Edmund Oatridge of Knightsford Bridge in the  County of Worcester Gentleman bearing date the twnety sixth day of January One thousand  eight hundred and eighty two I appoint my brother Raymond Oatridge of No 27 Carfax St New 

Swindon in the County of Wilts Foreman in the employ of the Great Western Railway Company  to be a Trustee and Executor of my said Will jointly with my Brother John Oatridge and my Sister  Sarah Oatridge therein mentioned And I direct that my said Will shall be read and construed as if 

the name of the said Raymond Oatridge had been originally inserted therein with the nmames of  the said John Oatridge and Sarah Oatridge I bequeath to Alice Davis daughter of John and Mary  Davis of Horsham Farm in the parish of Martley in the County of Worcester the sum of One 

hundred and five pounds in addition to the legacy of that amount bequeathed to her by my said  (end of page 4) 

Will and declare that the same shall be paid to her free of legacy duty And in all other respects I 

confirm my said Will In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this seventeenth day of  October One thousand eight hundred and eighty five 

Signed by the said Testator Edmund Oatridge and by him decalred to be a codicil to his last Will 

and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at his request in his presence  and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses

Proved at Worcester with a Codicil the fifteenth day of December 1885 by the Oaths of John 

Oatridge the Brother and Sarah Oatridge Spinster  the Sister  the Executors named in the Will  and Raymond Oatridge  the Brother  the Executor named in the said Codicil to whom  Administration was granted. 

The Testator Edmund Oatridge was late of Knightsford Bridge in the County of Worcester  Gentleman and died on the twenty sixth day of October 1885 at Knightsford Bridge aforesaid  Gross amount of personal Estate £2341.18.5  Net amount of personal Estate £2298.9.8
