I Daniel OATRIDGE Of Downington In The Parish Of Lechlade in the Co. of Glouc. cheese 

factor 

FIRST I Will & Direct That all my just debts & funeral expences be paid. 

ITEM I Give Unto My Son Daniel  OATRIDGE & his heirs forever my Messuage or Tenement  being In Doughton In The Parish Of Tetbury Co. Glouc. together with 2 inclosed pasture grounds  in Doughton aforesaid one called Home Ground  the other called Stall Ground with their  appurtenances  ALSO 1 cottage or tenement there in the occupation of ACKLAND and 1 other 

cottage or tenement therein the occupation of Amos DANSEY with their appurtenances & all  other my Fee Simple Land in Doughton aforesaid. 

ITEM I Give Unto My Son Simon OATRIDGE all that my Capital Messuage or Tenement 

together with the closes  lands & premises thereto belonging being in Eastcourt In The Parish Of  Crudwell In Co. Wilt. & All Other My Lands In Eastcourt which I purchased of & hold under The  Honourable Phillip YORKE Esquire now commonly called LORD VISCOUNT ROYSTON & of 

the most Honourable Jemima Marchioness GREY his wife by Lease Dated 24 Jan 1754 to hold  to my Son Simon OATRIDGE His Execs & Admins.for & during all my interest therein 

ITEM I Give Unto My Son Thomas OATRIDGE 100 pounds upon TRUST that he shall from time 

to time place the same out at Interest on good Securities & shall pay the interest into the hands  of My Daughter Margaret GEATRELL for her own separate use during her natural life & after her  decease shall pay the Principal sum of 100 pounds to such persons that she shall direct  & if for  want of such a will etc by her written  then the same principal sum to such children of my said 

daughter Margaret As Shall Be Living At Her Death. And my will is that the said sum shall not be  subject to the control of her husband Brice GEATRELL 

ITEM I Give To My Son Thomas a further sum of 100 hundred pounds upon Trust he to invest 

the same in good securities & pay the interest to my Daughter Ann MATTHEWS for her separate  use during her natural life then to the person she wills  if for want of such a direction the  principal sum to be to the children of my dau. Ann then living & shall not be subject to the control 

of her husband Walter MATTHEWS. 

And I Do hereby charge the said several legacies of 100 pounds given to my Son Thomas In  Trust  Are To Be Upon all my lands tenements & hereditaments hereinafter devised to my Son 

Thomas  his heirs. Executors & Admins. & also upon my residuary personal estate hereinafter  given to him. 

ITEM I Give To My Sister In Law Sarah OATRIDGE  relict of my late Brother Henry OATRIDGE  10 pounds. 

Rest & Residue Of My Messuages Lands Tenements Goods Chattels & Real & Personal Estate 

whatsoever not hereinbefore disposed of I Give To My Said Son Thomas OATRIDGE to hold to  him his heirs Execs. etc forever chargeable with the payment of the several legacies  hereinbefore given  and My Will Is that the provision hereby made for each of My Said Children  respectivelly given together with what I have given then before shall be in full satisfaction & 

discharge of the provision intended to be made for them by my Marriage Settlement 

I Nominate My Son Thomas OATRIDGE As Sole Executor.  Dated 14 Dec. 1763 signed Daniel OATRIDGE. 

WITNESSES Sarah Greenweay  Richard Bailey  Robert Stevens.  Proved At London 12 June 1771 oath of Thomas Oatridge  son  & sole executor.
