Will of Charlotte Otridge 1852 

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Charlotte Otridge of 45 Newington Place  Newington  Common in the County of Surrey England but now of 29 Rue de la Richelieu  Paris  in the 

Republic of France spinster.  I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses may be pair as soon as  conveniently my be after my decease I give and bequeath to my brother John Otridge and to  each of my Sisters Margaret the wife of Henry Mogford and Jane Pringle widow the sum of fifty 

pounds apiece and as to all the rest residue and remainder of my real and personal estate of  what nature or kind whatsoever and whether in possession reversion remainder or expectancy I  give devise and bequeath the same unto my niece Margaret Amelia the wife of Alfred Lecoy of 

Paris aforesaid Gentleman their heirs executors administrators and assigns according to the  tenure and quality therefo respectively to and for their own absolute use and benefit independent  of her husband and not to be subject to his debts control engagements or liabilities and with full 

power to dispose of the same by will but in case the said Margaret Amelia Lecoy (Margaret  Mogford's daughter) should die in my lifetime I give devise and bequeath all the said residue to  my real and personal estate unto Suzanne Emilie Lecoy daughter of my said niece her heirs  executors administrators and assigns to and for her own absolute use and benefit. I appoint my 

said niece Margaret amelia Leroy sole Executrix of this my Will and hereby revoking all former  and other Wills by me at any time heretofore made  I declare this to be my last Will and  Testament set my hand this fifteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and fifty two - 

signed and decalred by the above name Testatrix as and for her last Will and Testmanent in the  presence of us both of us being present at the same time and at her request in her presence and  in the presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses - Thomas Pickford - Her
