Will of Charles Oatridge 1940 Source: w2: Principal Probate Registry Wills. (1115) Transcript of Will: This is the LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT of me CHARLES OATRIDGE of 22 Lewis Terrace Llwyncelyn Porth in the County of Glamorgan Retired Coalminer I revoke all Wills heretofore made by me at anytime and declare this to be my last Will. I appoint my two sons Daniel Charles Oatridge and Ivor Oatridge to be Executors and Trustees hereof. After payment of all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses I give and bequeath all my real and personal estate of whatsoever nature or kind I may die possessed unto my Trustees upon trust to pay the net rents and profits of my dwellinghouses to my dear wife during her life or until she remarries and to permit her to enjoy the contents of my said dwellinghouse No 22 Lewis Terrace aforesaid and upon the death or re-marriage of my said wife whichever event shall first happen upon trust to hold the same for the benefit of my unmarried daughter Annie Margaret Oatridge during her life or until her marriage and Upon the happening of either event then all my real and personal estate shall be equally divided among all my children then living or if any one or more child shall have died leaving lawful issue .then such child or children shall take his or their parents share and I empower my Trustees to sell or convert into money all or any part of my said property or to postpone sale or conversion as they may think fit. It is my desire that any legal work in connection with the proving of the trusts hereof shall be entrusted to Mr Thomas W. Lewis Solicitor Porth and Merthyr Tydfil. IN WITNESS Whereof I have to this my Will set my hand this fifth day of April one thousand nine hundred and forty. I desire that the power of sale conferred on my Trustees shall not .be exercisable by them during the lifetime of my wife Mary Ann Oatridge or during the life of my daughter Annie Margaret Oatridge so that either shall be in receipt of the actual net Income from the properties left by me as In the Will.
