Will of Alice Sarah Otridge 1921 Source: w2: Principal Probate Registry Wills. I Alice Sarah Otridge of Number 9 Great Bedford Street in the City of Bath the Wife of Thomas Edward Otridge of the same place declare this to be my last Will and Testament and I hereby revoke all previous testamentary dispositions heretofore made by me I hereby appoint Andrew Sparks of Number 8 Belgrave Terrace Teignmouth Devon and Alice Crew of Chapel House Walcot Bath to be Executor and Executrix (hereinafter called "my Trustees") of this my Will I devise and bequeath all my real and personal property unto my Trustees Upon trust that they shall give to my Husband the said Thomas Edward Otridge such an amount of my furniture as they shall in their absolute discretion deem to be sufficient for his use and the sum of thirty pounds and shall sell the residue of my real and personal property and invest the same in any of the investments for the time being allowed by law for the investment of trust moneys or in the British Workman and General Benefit Building Society and shall pay the income thereof to my Husband during his life and after shall expend the sum of Twelve pounds for his burial and shall divide the residue equally between my Nephews and Nieces: Andrew Sparks Rhoda Cotterale Alice Crew Beatrice Sparks emily Sparks Hilda Dadge and Fred Sparkes In Witness whereof I the said Alice Sarah Otridge have to this my last Will and Testament set my hand this twenty seventh day of October One thousand nine hundred and twenty one Signed and acknowledged by the said Alice Sarah Otridge as and for her last Will and Testament in the presence of us present at the same time who at her request in her presence and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as Witnesses the words and sum of thirty pounds having been inserted between the twenty third and twenty fourth lines of the first page hereof (signed) Alice Sarah Otridge (witnesses) R A Moger Sol'r Bath A D W Birney His Clerk On 20th April 1923 Probate of this Will was granted at Bristol to Andrew William Sparks and Alice Sarah Crew the Executors Certified to be an examined CopyUpdated on 16 Mar 2006
