Subject OCS 58B Flower Fund Update
Dear 'mates,
The status of the flower fund is good. Participation and
contribution's are good, but not overwhelming. We are slightly
under fifty percent. Although it may not be reasonable to attain
one hundred percent participation, it is within reality to obtain very
close to that goal.
I have worked closely with the designers at the supplier handling
our account. The basic design somewhat resembles the arrangement
we had for Russ Ross. We have added a blue and sliver streamer
showing the words, U.S. AIR FORCE. Additionally, another streamer
in blue and gold showing the words, OFFICER CANDIDATE CLASS 58B.
Also a smaller streamer in black and sliver showing the word
CLASSMATE. We decided to display the full words - OFFICER
CANDIDATE CLASS and the word CLASSMATE with the thought that the term
OCS 58B may not be clearly understandable to some of the attendees.
Also, I have composed an appropriate sympathy card to accompany
all arrangements. Again, the account is a permanent account and
requires only a phone call from me to initiate an immediate order to
dispatch. I also live quite close to the supplier, as do two of my
daughters. They have been fully briefed and if necessary could
handle an order with total efficiency. >Remember, they are air force
brats<
I do need your help in one area. I have no means of knowing
if any of you change your e-mail or snail mail addresses, if you do not
inform me or Ollie, it may cause a delay and other problems should you
forget to notify me of the update. Currently, I have some e-mail
and snail mail addresses that are questionable.
I have attached another page pertaining to other information
and a page listing the contributor's to date. The last page is our
balance sheet through July 31, 2000. At the risk of being
redundant, I wish to restate the tremendous support and interest all of
you have expressed, either by individual e-mails or by the notes and
card you have included with you contributions.
It will be a total necessity for someone to contact me in case the
flower fund purpose is required.
I ask you to call me as quickly as possible and to gather as much
information as possible. I have arranged for a quick response to
any call, at any time
Perhaps you may wish to enter the following phone numbers in your
address books. It is of utmost importance to fully inform your
spouse and family of the existence and purpose of the fund, along with
full instructions for contacting me.
