Due to the recent death of Bob Hope I decided to share my
memorabilia.
Attached photos from Christmas 1965 at Tan Son Nhut Air Base, Saigon.
I was assigned to Project Big Cheer as security escort for Anita
Bryant and Diana Batts, Miss USA.
Since I did not have a camera with me, I was regrettably unable to
take any personal photos.
Photo No 9, of Anita & Yours Truly, was mailed to me after she had
returned to the states. On photo No 9 you can see my Big Cheer
identifying badge (on left pocket flap). I still have the badge
somewhere.
Photo No 8 , Carroll Baker signed and gave me the copy shown here.
Photo No 6 is a copy of my invitation to the Buffet and No 7 is the
reverse side where I got a few autographs. Bob Hope's is in the lower
left hand corner. Top left to right is Jack Jones - Joey Heatherton -
