WADE - Edgar (Mrs.)
= Mrs. Edgar Wade (formerly Eulah Neal) occurred at her home in Olinville, Queens Co, NB.  D/o Howard & Elizabeth Neal of Greenwich Hill.  She is survived by her husband, her parents, two brothers as well as several nephews and nieces. Her brothers are: Lewis, of Saint John and Clifford at home. She was a school teacher and taught in Saint John, Beaconsfield and other NB Centers.  Member of Greenwich Hill Baptist Church, moved to Olinville 8 years ago. Sect. of the local school board. Funeral conducted by Rev. W. H. Forsythe, assisted by Rev. D.C. Kaine, from Olinville United Church.  Interment in Lyon's Cemetery at Armstrong's Corner. (#1,TJ,?)

WALLACE - Charles George Joseph
= Charles G.J. (Tum) Wallace, Sr.  d. Sunday, 5 Aug 1979 ae 49 yrs, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, husband of  Doreen (Keating) Wallace of Grand Bay. Born in Saint John West, s/o Mary (LeBlanc) Wallace & the late Charles Wallace. He was a stevedore and had worked for 28 years at the Saint John port. He was a member of the I.L.A.
    Survived by his wife and mother; three sons: Charles of Saint John; John of McAdam and George of Grand Bay: four daughters: Deeann, Mrs.David Blizzard, of Saint John; Lora, Mrs. Glendon Hamilton; Miss Regina & Miss Dorothy Wallace all of Grand Bay: seven grandchildren, seven brothers: Gerald, Leo, Joseph, Arthur, Donald, Lenny And Norman all of Saint John: four sisters: Miss Alice Wallace, Mrs. Gladie Williams, Mrs. Helen Allan and Mrs. Shirley Ann Daigle all of Saint John: and several nieces & nephews.

WALLACE - Tracy Lynn
= Tracy Lynn Wallace, of 146 McLaren Blvd, d/o Charles & Margaret (Smith) Wallace d. by accident 12 Feb 1986.  Returning home from an evening activity at the Somerset Community Centre, when she an a number of children ran out from in front of a parked van to cross the street to her home.  She was a Grade One student at Hazen White - St Francis School.
    Survived by her parents, one sister: Joan (8), maternal grandparents, paternal g.mother; maternal g.g. parents and maternal g.g.mother, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
    Resting at Castle Funeral Home, with funeral mass on Sat 9 am, in St. Pius X Church.  Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery (#2,TJ)

WASON - Leonard John (Rev)
= Rev Leonard John Wason d. at the home of his daughter Friday afternoon in his 87th yr. (Gagetown, NB)  Born in Bath, Sommerset, England, s/o the late E. N. W. & Ann Margaret (Llewellyn) Wason. He came to Canada aged 19 and studied theology at Mt. Allison University, Sackville. He served in PEI and NB, retiring in 1937.  Survived by his wife the former Bessie Simpson, of Deer Island, NB, 1 son, J. E. Llewellyn Watson of North Head, Grand Manan; 1 dau, Mrs. Herbert Gaunce of Gagetown; 3 grandchildren and 2 sisters, Misses Geraldine & Mable Wason, Bath, England. One daughter Geraldine pre deceased him. (#1,TJ,?)

WEBB - Geraldine Phyllis & HARRISON - Kenneth
= Rev. W. H. Forsythe united in m. at the United Church, New Jerusalem, Geraldine Phyllis, d/o Mr. & Mrs. Charles Webb and Kenneth, s/o Ralph & the late Mrs. Harrison. Mrs. Forsythe was organist.  Miss Verna Harrison, the grooms sister was Maid of Honour, and Miss Irene Webb, her sister was Bridesmaid. Clive Harrison was groomsman. Mrs. M.O. Fletcher, of Fredericton, Aunt of the bride; Mrs. Herbert Francis, Aunt of the groom, of Armstrong's Corner; Mrs. R. D. FitzSimmons the grooms sister; Mrs. John Strachan; Mrs. C.T. Harrison; Mrs. Kenneth Webb; Musses John Fletcher & Marion Harrison, Marion Vroom, Dorothy Barnett and Vera MacKinnon assisted at the reception. They will reside in New Jerusalem. (#1,TJ,?)

= John Matthew Webb d. 27 Dec 1944, funeral from the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Stanley MacKinnon, New Jerusalem. Rev. B.E. Caren of the Welsford Baptist Church officiating.  In his 86th yr. and had been a resident of New Jerusalem all his life, and a Deacon of the Hill Baptist Church for 35 years.  Surviving are 4 daus: Miss Etta R. Webb, at home; Mrs. Arthur C. MacKinnon, Morrisdale; Mrs. J. Leonard Barnett & Mrs. J. Stanley MacKinnon of New Jerusalem; 2 sons, Medley M. Webb, Somerville, MA and Charles W. Webb of Jerusalem.  One sister, Mrs. James S. Machum, Revere, MA. Two Brothers: Levi L. Webb, Boston & Ernest T. Webb, Greenwood, MA.  16 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Webb and daughter of the late John & Annie (Rathburn) McaGee survived by her husband, four sons, two daughters, 17 grandchildren, four great grandchildren, one brother, several nephews and nieces.

 = At Sheffield, on Sept 6, 1974, William L. (Billy) Webb, of Lower Millstream, Kings County, son of Lloyd and Rita (Pearson) Webb; survived by his parents, tow sisters, parental grandfather, maternal grandmother, five uncles, sis aunts, several cousins.
    Resting at the Wallace Funeral home, Sussex.  The funeral service will be held Monday at the Church of the Ascxension, Apohaqui at 11 am.  Interment at Riverbank Cemetery.  Donations to the church of the Ascension Memorial Fund, or the charity of the doner's choice would be appreciated.  Visiting hours 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. WILLIAMS - Frederick G. (Mrs. & Mrs.)
= Mr. & Mrs. Frederick G. Williams, 302 Kings Street, West Saint John, died in the General Hospital, Monday, within minutes of each other. Mrs. Williams, formerly Elizabeth Fraser, of Scotland and had been seriously ill for several days. d/o the late William & Mary (Kean) Fraser. Surviving Mrs. Williams are two brothers: Andrew (serving with the police department) Dunnville, ON, and James of Scotland.  4 sisters, Mrs. John Scott, Mrs. Robert Scott, Mrs. James Cullen, all of Scotland, and Mrs. Isabelle H. Murray, Lancaster.  Several nieces and nephews. Mr. Williams, a locomotive engineer for 37 years with the CPR.  He was born in Saint John, s/o the late Benjamin Franklin & Jane (Brown) Williams.  Survivors: A brother, Charles (also with the CPR), 2 sisters: Mrs. Ralph Coleman, St John; Mrs. Charles Giles, Lancaster as well as several nieces and nephews. Funerals from Ross Funeral Home, West Saint John on Thursday.  Interment will be in Cedar Hill Extension Cemetery. (#1,TJ,?)

WOOD - John A. (AB)
    Pay Final Tribute to Young Seaman - Memorial Service Held at Hampstead for AB. John A. Wood.
    Hampstead, Aug 12 (Special) - A Memorial service for AB. John A. Wood, C.N.V.R., who was reported missing on H.M.C.S. Athabasca and later presumed dead, was held in the Hampstead Hall.  Many relatives and friends attended the service.  The platform was banked with flowers and a photo of AB. Wood was draped with a flag and surrounded with flowers. Rev. Dr. A.J. Archibald of McAdam conducted the service.  The hymns sung by the choir were "Shall We Gather at the River: and :Rick of Ages."
    Mr. Archibald delievered a short sermon and paid tribute to Mr. Wood.  Mrs. W.A. Dougan read a poem and little Miss Lillian Watson placed a bouquet on the table beneath the young man's photo.
    At the close of the service a group of naval cadets from Camp Brock stood at attention while the bugal sounded the "Last Post" and "Reveille."  (#1/TJ)
