HAMILTON - James A.
= James A. Hamilton, 65 of Holderville, Kings Co, NB, d. at the General Hospital, Saint John, NB, on Thursdays evening after a brief illness.  Born at Olinville, Queens Co, s/o Charles & Janie (Patterson) Hamilton and lived in New Jerusalem until he moved to Holderville 2 1/2 years before he died.  His wife, the former Ella Stockford died previously. She was of Lawfield, Queens Co, NB.  He was a member of the Hill Baptist Church at  New Jerusalem.  Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Ira E. Sawler, Long Reach; Miss Grace A. T. Hamilton, at home and one son, Dean R. Hamilton, Lancaster; six grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  A son, Joseph L. was killed in the Second World War. Funeral from Brenan's on Monday at 2 pm, with interment in Hill Baptist Cemetery, New Jerusalem. (#1,TJ,?)

HAMILTON - Joseph Lambert (Trp)
= 1943 - Trp. Joseph Lambert Hamilton s/o Mr. & Mrs. James Hamilton, of New Jerusalem was reported killed in action on July 21.  He enlisted with the Canadian Army in June 1941, and went overseas on March 1942.  Survived besides his parents, 1 brother, Tpr. Dean Hamilton, Canadian Army overseas and two sisters, Irene and Grace at home. (d. in Sicily) (#1,TJ,?)

HANSON - Frederick E.
=  In loving memory of a dear father and grandfather, Frederick E. Hanson, who passed away January 11, 1969. (#2/DG)

HARRISON - A. Teed
= A. Teed Harrison died at his home at New Jerusalem where he spent all of his life.  Survived by a son, Ralph, of New Jerusalem and a daughter, Mrs. Herbert Francis, of Armstrong's Corner, Queens Co; nine grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. Funeral from the United Church with Rev. H. Forsythe officiating; assisted by Rev. L. J. Wasson of Gagetown. Grandsons were pallbearers. Interment was in the adjoining cemetery. (#1,TJ,?)

HASTINGS - James
= James Hastings, 14 May ____, drowned on Friday night at Hampstead, seven year old s/o Corporal Ronald & Mrs. Hastings. (also see Carl Matteson) (#1,TJ,?)

HOWE - Robert A.
= Robert A. Howe d. at his home in his 82nd year, after a period of ill health. Born in Jerusalem, eldest s/o the late James Howe, and lived there all his life.  Member of the United Church.  Survived by his widow; 1 sister, Mrs. S. M. Short, Glenwood; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral by Rev. W. H. Forsythe, at the United Church, assisted by Rev. L. J. Wason.  Burial in adjoining cemetery. Pallbearers: James N. Inch; Percy A. Inch; Leland Adamson and Cecil Machum. (#1,TJ,?)

= Louisa M. Hubbard of Burton, NB - d. at her res on 25 Apr 1951, w/o R.D.W. Hubbard.  Funeral from McAdam's to St Paul's Anglican Church, Burton.  Rev. J.H.P. McMann officiating. Burial in Fernhill Cemetery, Saint John. (#1,TJ,?)
