CARSON - Isobel (Mrs.)
= Mrs. Isobel Carson, wife of Herbert Carson, aged 58 yrs (He was a survivor of the Ocean Hawk II; He was severely injured last week when the tug sank in the Saint John Harbour.) Mrs. Carson, b. in England, formerly a nurse, was a resident of Oak Point, Kings Co, until recently when she and her husband went to reside on Dorchester St, Saint John.  They have one son, Hugh, of Belleisle.  Body resting at the home of James Carson, Oak Pt.  Funeral from St Paul's and interment in the adjoining cemetery. CHAPPELLE - MURPHY
= 1 Sep 1943 Fredericton - Wilmot St United Church, Fredericton, Rev. A. Frank MacLean united in m. Helen Rowena d/o Mr. & Mrs. Robert Chappelle, of Oromocto and Harold Robert Murphy of Welsford.  Miss Gladys O'Leary was bridesmaid. (#1,TJ,?)

CHISHOLM - E.J. (Rev)
= Rev. E. J. Chisholm, d. Sunday, in Trenton, NS.  He was a former pastor of Victoria St Baptist Church in Saint John (for 7 years). He was retired when he d. as a result of a heart attach. He left Saint John in 1942 to go to Middleton, NS, and also had served in Hazel Brook, PEI, previous to coming to Saint John. He was a native of Sydney, NS. (#1,TJ,?)

COCHRANE - Thelma L. (Mrs.)
    At St Joseph's Hospital June 13, 1963, Mrs. Thelma L. Cochrane, age 59, of 31 Parkhill Drive, formerly of Norton, wife
of Kenneth W. Cochrane, survived by her husband, one daughter, her parents, two brothers, five sisters, two two grandaughters, several nephews and nieces.
    Resting at Brenan's Funeral Home until Saturday morning when the remains will be taken to the home of her parents, Woodside, Sunbury Co.  The funneral will be held on Monday from French Lake Baptist Church with service at 2 o'clock.  Interment in the Woodside Cemetery. (#1,TJ,?/and-or DG)

CONNORS - Bernice
= Bernice Connors, Blacks Harbour, was brutally slain June 1942. In Dec 1942 Sgt. Hutchings, R.A.F. paid the death penalty for her murder. (#1,TJ,?)

CONNORS - Francis (Frank) T.
= Francis (Frank) T. Connors, of Welsford, NB, d. on Tuesday at his residence in his 63rd yr.  He was a retired mail driver in Queens Co, retiring in 1954. Born at Petersville, s/o the late Daniel & Elizabeth (Kelly) Connors, and had been an active member of St. Ignatius Parish in Petersville, transferring to St Augustine's PArish, at Welsford. Surviving his wife Zilda (Willis) of Welsford; 2 sisters, Mrs. James Horgan, Sagwa and Frederick Culbert, Welsford and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral from his home to St Augustine's in Westfield.  Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. COOMBES - Jean Rosett (Mrs. Herbert)
= Mrs. Herbert (Jean Rosetta) Coombes, of 86 Crown St, d. on Saturday (1943).  She had been ill for the past year and one half.  Born in England, had been a resident of Saint John for the past 7 years.  She was the d/o Mrs. & Mrs. Thomas J. Rabey, of  Jerusalem, NB.  Surviving: her husband, 1 dau, Colleen Mary, at home; 2 brothers, Arthur & Kenneth with the Canadian Army; 4 sisters: Mrs. Frank Brayden and Mrs. Harry Taylor of New Jerusalem, and two living in England.  Body resting at Brenan's Funeral Home.  Funeral at 2:30 Monday.  Interment at Fernhill Cemetery. CORBETT - Cyrus Ross M.
= Suddenly at his home in Queenstown, NB, on Nov 30, 1961, Cyrus Ross M. Corbett, son of the late James E. and Jessie I. (McKinney) Corbett, Dunns Corner, survived by three sisters, two brothers, several nieces and nephews.
    Resting at the home of his sister, Mrs. Fenton McConchie, where prayers will be held Saturday at 1 o'clock followed by service at the Central Baptist Church.  Central Hampstead, at 2:30.  Interment in adjoining cemetery. No flowers by request.  Donations for Cancer Society. (#1,TJ,?)

= Mrs. Mary Blanche Corbett, of Welsford, widow of Alfred E. Corbett, d. early Sat. at the Queens-Sunbury West Memorial Hospital, Fredericton, Jct.  Born at Welsford, d/o the late James & Jessie (Short) Nutter and lived in Saint John & Welsford. Member of St Lukes Ch, Welsford. Surviving 1 son, Staff Sgt Alfred E. Corbett, Fredericton; 2 daus: Mrs. Wm. H. Johnson, Saint John and Mrs. Cecil Livingston at home.  2 sisters: Mrs. Ronald Armstrong, Pennfield Ridge and Mrs. Edith Arnold, Dartmouth, NS; 4 brothers: Wm. L. Nutter; James C. Nutter and Shirley Nutter of Welsford, and Alfred L. Nutter of Fredericton Jct. as well as 3 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral from the residence on Monday to St Luke's Church, Welsford, and burial in the Welsford Cemetery. (#1,TJ,?)

Corey, ae 90, of Temprance Vale.  Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Phillip Pickard (Maida), Temprance Vale; Mrs. Glenna Burden, Mactaquac; Mrs. Edward Bishop (Faye), Dartmouth, NS; three sons, Herbert, Tripp Settlement; Arnold, Woodstock; Neil, Yellowknife, NWT.  28 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
