Marriage Notes for NANCY FOSTER and DAVID WRENN:

Benjamin A. Roney applied for a marriage license for David Wrenn and Nancy Foster on July 2,1877.  They were married on July 7th 1877 by A. Murray Justice of the Peace at the home of Nancy's Mother Rachel Foster in Faucetts Township.  Witnesses to the marriage were B.F. Roney, William Evans and W.J. Watson of Alamance Co. NC.

Both Nancy and David's fathers were dead at this time but both mothers were living.  Parthenia Wrenn was living in Rockingham Co. and Rachel Foster was living in Alamance Co., NC.

Married, on the 7th of this month at brides mothers, in this county, Mr. David Wren to, Miss Nannie Foster.    A. Murray Esq. made them one.
