Objective: to enumerate Abernethy/Abernathy/Bernethy lineages using Y-DNA analysis in conjunction with traditional genealogy research methods.

Hair/Haire/Hare/Hayer

Objective:Study relationship of various Hair families starting with James Haire, an immigrant to York, SC in 1788 from Antrim, Ireland. See:

McAmis (McCamish/McKemmish, etc) Project

Objective: to locate the plae of origin of the three brothers who came to old Bedford, Virginia, in the early 1770s and moved to Tennessee after the Revolution. It is a Y DNA only project (only males). Objective accomplished. A match was found to a man in Australia descended from a man in south eastern Tyrone. R1b1c7 is the type (North West Irish).
