William Bennett Born in 1788. Died in 1855. Married Nancy Elder (1790-1875). They are buried in the Neshannock U.P. Cemetery, Hickory Twp., Lawrence Co., PA. In the day book of Mr. Washington Boak, Mr. Bennett is mentioned as having been paid for grinding at Stoner's Mill. They had three boys and three girls. The 1877 History of Lawrence County, Pa., page 53, Village of Croton, states: "Among early settlers were Isaac P. Rose, James Vogan, Alexander Roderick and William Bennett."
