Robert TALIAFERRO, the son of John TALIAFERRO and Sara SMITH, was born about 1687. He married Elizabeth MATHEWS, daughter of Samuel MATHEWS and Miss PAULLIN.

Children of this marriage:

• 1. Elizabeth TALIAFERRO, married Samuel HILLDRUP, February 1746.
• 2. Mary TALIAFERRO, born about 1724; died about 1780; married Maximilian BERRYMAN

Robert died in 1728 in Spotsylvania County, Virginia.

Elizabeth married Moseley BATTALEY on 22 October 1728.

They were the parents of:

• 3. John Battaley
• 4. Elizabeth Battaley

Elizabeth died before 1757.
