The bridegroom was the second son of the Chief Justice. He was for many years in the Provincial Parliament, also Mayor of Toronto in 1855. After confederation he was Lieutenant-Governor of Ontario, 1886-92. He died in June, 1896, very suddenly. Mrs. Robinson predeceased her husband about five years.
