1.  William Loveridge; b. circa 1630; m. Temperance; d. 1684 at Albany, NY.
     He was a hatter.

     Known children of William Loveridge and Temperance were as
follows:
     2.          i. Temperance Loveridge, b. circa 1658 at Dorset,
                    England; m. Isaac Melyn.
                ii. William Loveridge; b. circa 1660 at Dorset,
                    England; m. Margaret Dumont.
               iii. Sarah Loveridge; b. circa 1663; m. John Ward.
                iv. Samuel Loveridge; b. 1665 at Chuckatuck,
                    Nansemond Co., VA; m. Anna Meals.


                     Generation Two

2.  Temperance Loveridge (William1); b. circa 1658 at Dorset, England;
m. Isaac Melyn, son of Cornelis Melyn and Janneken Adriaens, 5 Oct
1679; 2nd wife.

     Isaac Melyn was baptized on 22 Jul 1646 at New York Dutch
Reformed Church, New Amsterdam, New Netherlands. He married Dorothea
Samson; 1st wife. He died on 18 May 1693 at Virginia at age 46.
