Generation One

1. Hon. William¹ Tayloe married Ann Corbin, daughter of Hon. Henry Corbin and Alice Eltonhead, in 1685. He died in 1710.
He resided at London, England. He resided at Lancaster Co., VA. He resided at 'Mt. Airy', Richmond Co., VA. He was a member of the House of Burgesses from 1700 to 1706 at Virginia.
Ann Corbin was born on 9 Feb 1664. She died in 1694.

Generation Two

2. Hon. John² Tayloe (William¹) was born on 15 Feb 1688. He married Elizabeth Gwynn, daughter of David Gwyn and Katherine Griffin, in 1715; 2nd husband. He died in Nov 1747 at age 59.
He resided at 'The Old House', Richmond, Richmond Co., VA. He was a member of Council in 1732 at Virginia.
Elizabeth Gwynn was born on 31 Dec 1692. She married Maj. Stephen Lyde; 1st husband. She died on 24 Sep 1734 at age 41.

i. William³ Tayloe was born on 8 Jul 1716. He died on 8 May 1726 at age 9.

Generation Three

3. John³ Tayloe II (John², William¹) was born on 28 May 1721 at Virginia. He married Rebecca Plater, daughter of Col. George Plater and Rebecca Tasker Addison, on 11 Jul 1748. He died on 12 Apr 1779 at age 57.
He and Rebecca Plater resided at 'Mt Airy', Richmond Co., VA. He resided at Spotsylvania Co., VA.
Rebecca Plater was born on 8 Aug 1731. She died on 22 Jan 1787 at age 55.

iii. Ann Corbin Tayloe was born on 7 Jul 1753. She married Maj. Thomas Lomax on 25 May 1773.

iv. Mary Tayloe was born on 1 May 1755. She died on 16 Oct 1755.

6. v. Eleanor Tayloe, born 16 Oct 1756; married Hon. Ralph Wormeley.

vi. Mary Tayloe was born on 28 Oct 1759. She married Hon. Mann Page, son of Hon. Mann Page II and Ann Corbin Tayloe, on 18 Apr 1776. She died on 23 Mar 1803 at age 43.
She and Hon. Mann Page had 3 children.

vii. Catherine Griffin Tayloe was born on 10 Oct 1761. She married Landon Carter, son of Robert Wormeley Carter and Winifred Travers Beale, on 5 Feb 1780; 1st wife. She died on 22 Dec 1798 at age 37.
She resided at 'Mt Airy', Richmond Co., VA.

viii. Sarah Tayloe was born on 5 Mar 1765. She married Col. William Augustine Washington, son of Augustine Washington and Ann Aylett, on 11 Feb 1789; 3rd wife. She died on 3 Sep 1834 at age 69.

ix. ___ Tayloe was born on 13 Sep 1770. He died on 13 Sep 1770.

x. John Tayloe III was born on 13 Sep 1770. He married Ann Ogle, daughter of Gov. Benjamin Ogle and Henrietta Margaret Hill, on 24 Oct 1792. He died on 23 Mar 1828 at age 57.
He resided at 'Octogon House', Washington, DC. He resided at 'Mt Airy', Richmond Co., VA.

7. xi. Jane Tayloe, born 15 Mar 1774 at 'Mt Airy', Richmond Co., VA; married Hon. Robert Beverley.

4. Elizabeth³ Tayloe (John², William¹) was born on 28 May 1721. She married Col. Richard Corbin, son of Col. Gawin Corbin and Jane Lane, on 9 Jun 1737.
She and Col. Richard Corbin resided at 'Laneville', King and Queen Co., VA.
Col. Richard Corbin was born in 1708. He died in 1787.
